This January despite considerable past grumblings about San Francisco’s rather visible and considerable homeless, often disadvantaged and marginalized urban populations (some might say ‘target rich’ cohorts for ‘woke’ health system deployment of social determinants of health outreach campaigns) circulating in, around and adjacent to Union Square, again convenes in the iconic ‘City by the Bay’.

As in previous years since 2014 (#JPM20, #JPM19 and here), yours truly registers and publishes the ‘unofficial’ hashtag for tweets tagged to the event. As in past years the naming convention is ‘#JPM(two digit year), ergo #JPM23 for 2023.
More will be posted here as some of the comprehensive guides and resources are made public by many of the event’s sponsors, participants, attendees and other interested parties.
Prior year digital footprints and influencer ‘scoreboards’ – if you will, (note #JPM22 was rather lite given proximity to the pandemic. This year there may be a rebound ‘thirst’ for IRL events judging from a recent tweet on hotel booking activity.
